For many, polo is a sport they discover at college or university and it is these college and university teams that often need your support the most as they often have little or no funding and rely on donations.
Vassar Polo Club, located in upstate New York, USA, is one such team that needs your support. Vassar Polo Club have had a long polo history, being the first collegiate women's team in the United States, back when Vassar was an all-girls school. However, due to budget constraints they are in desperate help with funding to keep their team up and running.
Unfortunately Vassar Polo team didn't have much of a presence in the past, the club was disbanded a long time ago and then restarted in 2001. Since then, they have had some trouble building up a team, however this year they have expanded the women's team as well as adding a men's team. They have also been expanding the interest in the sport on campus and alongside the local community.
They now need your support to keep their team up and running and continuing to build their presence in the sport and in their community. They are looking for donations and sponsorships so that they can continue playing this year, if you or your company can help sponsor them please contact them via their website vassarpolo.wordpress.com .
